Finals blog :)

Had my final today and I managed not to fall off the runway. But you know what I noticed that there are invisible barriers to prevent such catastrophes on the main runways. Runways I got to go take pictures of today. :)

 

The first one I visited was Red Venue CWS. That is one long runway.

 

Then it was off to The Black and White Runway, the very first one

I ever came to and where I got my start here at CWS. There are lovely

swans and flamingos in the water. I wonder if anyone ever goes swimming

in there? Do you think they will let me?

 

A marching we will go, a marching we will go, hi ho the deri oh a

marching we will go... off to The CWS Dome. I had so much trouble with

this one at first. It was very scary to me. Never the less I finally figured it out!

Yay!!

 

And off I went to The Beach!

No one was around soooo...

I played around on the stage, and...

*giggles*

 

 

Last but not least I made it to the Ballroom. All the pretty colors!

Our styling final was to be a black mini-skirt, red shoes and an updo.

Of all the stylings I have done this seems so simple but was really hard

for me to find what I wanted. It took me 2 days to put it together but here

it is.

 

 

Good morning Ladies and gentleman and thank you for coming this evening. My name is Kathleen Reyer. Today's theme is Black mini skirt with red heels and an updo. I would like to also thank Anrol and Steve for making all this possible, the instructors for all their hard work and patience, the judges, and the announcers.

 

Kathleen rummages through her closet trying on and discarding one thing after the other. Its the big day and she is determined to look her best! Finally she finds what she was looking for, a  black tweed high waist mini skirt and she yanks a  red low scooping tank off a hanger and pulls it on. Grabs a shrug and slips on her Lulu Stilettos from slink and thinks "God I love these shoes." To finish it off she clasps on a necklace and matching earrings. She gives herself a once over in the mirror and heads out the door.

I never knew how much thought and effort went into all of this and

I have much respect for models in Second Life.
